The Miami Dolphins are off to one of the worst starts in NFL history, offensively. They are averaging an abysmal 11.9 points per game this season. Remember that Lions team that didn’t win a single game in 2008? They managed 16.8 points per game. Tua Tagoviloa has been sidelined since Week 2 due to a concussion. That is his 3rd official concussion since the 2022 season. He is slated to return from IR this week vs The Arizona Cardinals and man are Miami Faithful happy. Not only is Tua returning, but he is returning against one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.
Fire Up the Fins WRs and Tua
The good news is they are playing Arizona. The Cards have allowed the fifth most passing yards (1,658) on the season. On average they allow 236.85 ypg through the air. They are tied at 6th giving up 11.1 yards per completion. If I was going to choose a defense for a QB to play returning from an injury, this would definitely be a top 3 option.
Teams have a great time passing vs Arizona
Arizona has one of the league’s worst passing defenses on the season.

Conclusion
In a recent interview, Dolphins Tyreek Hill was quoted saying “We’re back, baby. Strike up the f—ing band, We’re back, baby. Start me this week” I share his optimism. I wouldn’t blame anyone for being cautious on his return, but this gamble could pay off big time. I’d start Tua, Waddle, and Hill. Arizona is one of the most exploitable defenses through the air in the entire NFL.
