This year, we gathered PPR season predictions from 8 well-known Fantasy Football analysts and ranked them by accuracy, from best to worst. Our goal was to identify the most accurate and reliable Fantasy Football experts in our analyst ranking competition. This competition is open to everyone. We are aiming to gather hundreds of projections for 2025 to identify who the Fantasy Football gods are. Every week and year, analysts from different platforms take part, striving to be the highest accurate analyst in forecasting PPR Fantasy Football outcomes for the specified duration (weekly or yearly). let’s dive into how the 2024 season shaped out:
During the 2024 season, we went back in time to gather the PPR Fantasy Football predictions from 8 well-known analysts. We took their top 10 PPR projections for all Fantasy Football offensive positions. We then ranked each analyst/company by comparing their prediction accuracy using Pearson correlation. Here are all of our findings:
Out of the 8 analysts, Yahoo Sports has been crowned the ‘Nostradamus’ for the 2024 NFL season! They had the highest accuracy amongst all 8 analysts, finishing directly in front of Rotoballer. Yahoo Sports was most precise with Running Backs, followed by Quarterbacks, Tight Ends, and finally, Wide Receivers.
