Effective for: the brainyballers.com website AND all mobile applications operated by BrainyBallers, LLC, currently including:
- Fantasy League Economy (iOS + Android) — fantasy football stock market
- Waiver Wealth (iOS + Android) — fantasy football waiver wire trading platform
References to “we,” “our,” “us,” or “BrainyBallers” refer to BrainyBallers, LLC. References to “the Services” cover the website, all listed apps, and any future apps owned by BrainyBallers, LLC. Use of any Service constitutes acceptance of this Policy.
1. Who we are
BrainyBallers, LLC is a U.S. limited liability company headquartered at 1443 Bridge St, Ashtabula, OH 44004-3215. Contact: Contact@BrainyBallers.com.
2. Data we collect
We only collect what’s needed to operate the Services. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Account data (you provide directly):
- Email address
- Username and display name
- Encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text)
- Profile avatar image (Waiver Wealth — optional, user-uploaded)
- Sleeper fantasy football username (Fantasy League Economy only — used to fetch your public Sleeper league data)
App-generated data:
- In-app purchase receipts and subscription state (only if your version of the app offers paid features — validated through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat; we never see your payment card number)
- Virtual-currency balances and transaction history — BrainyBucks — in both apps
- Game actions you take and timestamps, such as:
- Fantasy League Economy: trades, picks, bounties, waiver claims
- Waiver Wealth: share purchases/sales, order placements (market / limit / short), trade offers, share releases, lineup changes, friend requests, watchlist edits
- Optional user-generated text you write within app features:
- Fantasy League Economy: the “Bounty Details” caption (visible only to other members of the same league)
- Waiver Wealth: chat messages (in the planned per-league chat feature) and any other text content you submit
- Push notification device token (so we can deliver notifications you opted in to)
- Crash and error diagnostics (currently enabled in Waiver Wealth via Sentry; planned for Fantasy League Economy)
Website data:
- Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, page paths) — used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate website analytics; retained for up to 90 days
- WooCommerce order data if you purchase directly from brainyballers.com (billing address, order line items, Stripe-tokenized payment method — we never see your full card number)
- Cookies set by Google AdSense / Google Analytics on the website (subject to your cookie preferences; not used by the mobile apps)
Automatically collected on mobile apps:
- App version, OS version, and device model (for compatibility debugging)
We do NOT collect, on any Service: precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, advertising identifiers (IDFA), browsing history outside the Services, financial data beyond IAP/order receipts, or biometric data. The only photo data we ever store is the optional profile avatar you choose to upload in Waiver Wealth — we do not access your photo library beyond that single user-initiated action.
3. How we use your data
- Provide core functionality (authentication, gameplay, in-app purchases where applicable, push notifications, league play)
- Generate AI newsletters and breaking-news alerts about your specific Sleeper league(s) (Fantasy League Economy only)
- Process subscriptions, virtual-currency purchases, and website orders
- Respond to support requests
- Automated moderation and fraud detection: we run automated checks for collusive trading patterns, abuse of game mechanics, and other prohibited behavior (e.g., Waiver Wealth’s collusion-detection system that may flag or auto-suspend accounts that exceed safety thresholds). Human admins review flagged activity. User-submitted text in any app (e.g., Fantasy League Economy bounty captions, Waiver Wealth league chat) is subject to automated review and may be removed or flagged for human review if it violates our community standards. Repeat or severe violations may result in account suspension.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats more broadly
- Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, lawful requests)
We do NOT use your data for advertising on mobile, nor share it with third-party advertisers. The website uses Google AdSense / Analytics for aggregate metrics and ad delivery on the website itself; the mobile apps do not run ads.
4. Third parties we share data with
We share data only with these processors, and only as needed to operate the Services:

Each of these processors has its own privacy policy. We have data-processing agreements in place requiring them to protect your data.
We do NOT sell or trade personal information.
5. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Delete your account from within any mobile app: Open the app → Profile tab → “Delete Account” link. This permanently removes your account, virtual-currency balance, gameplay history, uploaded avatar, friend list, and personal data from that app’s environment. Active subscriptions (if any) are cancelled. This action cannot be undone.
- Request a data export: Email Contact@BrainyBallers.com with subject “Data Export Request” and we will respond within 30 days.
- Opt out of push notifications: Profile tab in the app — toggle off each category, or disable notifications system-wide in your device settings.
- Cancel a subscription (where applicable): Manage through Apple’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions. The apps do not store payment information.
- Correct your data: Email Contact@BrainyBallers.com.
- GDPR / CCPA / state-law rights: If you reside in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy laws, you have additional rights including data portability, restriction of processing, and the right to object. Email us to exercise them.
6. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. By creating an account you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us personal information, email Contact@BrainyBallers.com and we will delete it.
If you reside in the EU/UK, the minimum age may be higher under local law (e.g., 16 in some EU countries) — use of the Services represents you meet your local minimum age.
7. Data retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active. Permanently deleted upon account-deletion request.
- Server logs: 90 days.
- Subscription receipts / website orders: 7 years (tax compliance).
- Trade and transaction history: retained for the duration of the season plus 12 months (for dispute resolution and fraud auditing), then anonymized.
- Anonymized aggregate analytics: indefinitely.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS / TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are stored as one-way salted hashes. Firebase and database access are controlled by access rules. No internet system is 100% secure; report suspected breaches to Contact@BrainyBallers.com.
9. International users
The Services are operated from the United States. By using them, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States. Standard contractual clauses are in place for transfers from the EU/UK.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app on app launch and via the brainyballers.com homepage. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
